The Global Immigration team is part of the Talent Deployment and Mobility (TD&M) organization. Global Immigration created the global policy to ensure local country immigration law and regulation are adhered to and understood by members who engage in cross border travel, undertake an assignment in another country, are newly hired into the company or on-board through mergers/acquisitions.

The Immigration Travel operations Manager drives seamless operations to manage Visa/work Permit screening and Processing for Multiple countries.

This role focuses on understanding the immigration landscape, risk implications and mitigation of laws along with government relationships and the impacts on business by geography, region and country. A strong understanding of the business is necessary to ensure the global immigration policies and strategies align with the business needs and can provide quick, informed, judgment in an advisory capacity regarding local country laws and regulations.

 

The role will need proven strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills to solve difficult business and operational issues

(Immigration Experience is MUST)

# The candidate should be able to display strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills to solve difficult business issues and ability to support the business as follows, but not limited to:

• Partnering and collaborating with Business units and key project teams to facilitate deployment of talent across Geographies by managing Visa Operations

• Teaming with government relations to drive a strategy to cover consulate updates with the various consulates in India

• Partnering with business prior to contract signing (contracts/negotiations teams/sales teams);

• Reviewing immigration changes (eg: client alerts, legislative changes) and assessing impact, seeking clarification (if required), communicating as required;

• Policy exception approval requests relating to immigration;

• Reviewing of TD&M proposed policy changes for assessment of immigration impact;

•Sound understanding of operations management vis-a-vis SLA management, customer experience and process throughput

•Manage Visa/Travel Operations seamlessly to exceed customer expectations and ensure immigration compliance

* Knowledge of Immigration Laws/Operations Management
