JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

This position will be responsible for providing DL / L3 support on Messaging Exchange 2007, OCS, and Share Point Servers Knowledge is mandate.
for HP Customers.

Primary Responsibility would be,

- Addressing L3 Escalation Server issue.
- Addressing L3 Escalation Client issue (Outlook, OWA, POP3, RPC over HTTP etc.,).

- Addressing L3 Escalation on OCS / Black berry support

- Addressing L3 Escalation on Share Point issue

- Addressing L3 escalation on Active Directory , DNS and DHCP

- Maintain system and service availability as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

- Design/Plan for New Implementation and Migration Activity. Lead the teams in all phases of production implementations.

- Implement change records as required (ITSM Process).
- Review Monthly Report. Provide solution for abnormal system performance reported in Monthly Report.

- Perform Exchange Server/Environment tuning activities where appropriate. Make recommendations to improve health of the system where necessary.

- Ensure that all documentation for the systems (AD, DNS, DHCP, Messaging Architecture, Mail Flow diagrams) is updated after changes.
- Provide on-call support as scheduled (Shared Delivery).

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

 

Good understanding of Exchange 2007 / 2010.

Good Understanding of Communication LCS / OCS / LYNC

Good understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2003/2007/2010 and SharePoint Designer

Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.

In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.

SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the data view web part , content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.
Good understanding of Active Directory (about Forest/Domain Architecture, Replication, Disasters recovery).

Good understanding of ISA
Good understanding of Exchange Components:-
(Exchange Database, Outlook Web Access, Offline Address List, Mail Flow, Public Folders, Free/Busy)
Good Understanding of Exchange Architecture Services that run on Exchange 2007 / 2010 Server Roles Edge, Hub, CAS & Mailbox.

Good understanding about one Backup Application and the various methods about backing and restoring Exchange Database and configurations.

Good understanding on Exchange Gateway product like Bright mail, IMSS etc

Good understanding about MS Cluster on Exchange 2003

Good understanding about and Hands on experience with regard to High Availability Features (CCR, SCC, SCR & LCR).

Good Knowledge on Collaborating Applications (Black Berry, OCS, UM etc.,)

Extensively worked on Windows core infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS/DDNS/WINS and DHCP services

Working Knowledge of RAS/VPN, Web Servers, Clusters, and backup/restore

Good Knowledge of Server Hardware/RAID, SAN, Backup Applications.

Good understanding about upgrading, transitioning and migrating Exchange to the latest version.

Good understanding Exchange Tools that will help in Troubleshooting, Monitoring and fine tuning of Exchange
- Exchange Best Practice Analyzer Report
- Exchange Performance Troubleshooter Analyzer
- MPS Report

-Minimum 8 + years of experience working in AD , DNS , Messaging Environment (Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years of experience) in maintaining and supporting Exchange at the server level in an enterprise environment.) implementing and maintaining complex solutions.

-Demonstrated experience in ITIL best practices methodologies
